Golf Instructor Opportunity:

Job Details: Provides golf lessons. Explains and demonstrates principles, techniques and methods of regulating movement of body, hands and feet to achieve proficiency in golf. Observes students during practice to detect and correct mistakes.

P1 Putting Junior 1504wRREssential Functions:
1. Develops quality golf instruction for Kimball Golf Club to market to individuals and groups.
2. Provides both Public golf lessons to groups.
3. Performs one-on-one private training sessions.
4. Coordinates lessons with General Manager.
5. Conducts lessons and clinics using the range on site.
6. Attends LPGA/PGA educational business schooling/programming to secure permanent membership.
7. Maintains cleanliness and neatness of grounds & facility.
8. Ensures a pleasant visit for each guest; maintains effective guest relations.
9. Performs special projects delegated by management.
10. Stays updated on latest developments pertinent to the department as well as the location.

Compensation: Seasonal Commission Based Position

Strong playing background (ability to score 87 or better for 18 holes) required; PGA or LPGA Certification Preferred or Started; and  or at least 1 year of teaching experience required. Current required local and/or state professional certification and/or license; high school diploma or general education degree (GED); proven instructor skills; and demonstrated outstanding customer service. Must possess willingness to learn and perform new golf programs, excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, drive and motivation. Flexibility with schedule with evenings and weekend work required.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and interpret retail product labeling. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of organization.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
